No matter where you're coming from, you'll find a warm welcome, authentic community, and a place to encounter God. Here's everything you need to know before your first visit.
What We're About
Everything we do at Living Word Church flows from these five commitments. They shape how we gather, how we grow, and how we serve.
We believe worship is more than music — it's a lifestyle. Our Sunday gatherings are filled with Spirit-led praise, heartfelt prayer, and an atmosphere where people encounter the presence of God.
We're committed to Bible-grounded teaching that is practical, relevant, and life-changing. From Sunday sermons to mid-week studies, we dig into the Word together so everyone can grow in faith.
Growth happens in community. Through discipleship groups, ministry programs, and special events, we help every person move forward in their walk with God — wherever they're starting from.
We are a family. You won't be a stranger here for long. Our church is a place where genuine friendships are built, where people show up for each other, and where nobody walks through life alone.
We believe the Church exists not for itself, but for the world. We actively serve our local community in Adairville and support global missions to bring hope and the Gospel to those who need it most.

What We Believe
As a nondenominational, Spirit-filled Christian church, these are the core beliefs that define who we are and how we live.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — co-equal and co-eternal.
We believe that all people are sinners and that salvation comes by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone. It is a free gift — not earned by works.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and the final authority in all matters of faith, life, and practice.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and in the resurrection of all the dead — believers to eternal life, unbelievers to judgment.
We believe that divine healing is provided in the atonement of Christ and is available to all who believe through prayer and faith in Jesus' name.
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues, as described in Acts 2 and available to all believers today.
We believe in the literal, physical, and imminent return of Jesus Christ to establish His eternal kingdom.
We believe in the Great Commission — the call to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every person, making disciples of all nations.
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit — the ongoing work of being set apart and transformed into Christlikeness in thought, word, and deed.
We believe in the local church as the Body of Christ — a community of believers called together for worship, fellowship, discipleship, and service to the world.
Whether this is your first time in church or you're looking for a new home, Living Word Church welcomes you with open arms. Come experience it for yourself this Sunday.
